Authorities learned that the victim had been walking to her car from the donut shop when she was approached by an unknown man and attacked. He stabbed her several times and fled on foot through the parking lot.

Violent crimes detectives worked for several months to determine the identity of the suspect and on Tuesday arrested 24 year old Thomas Kelley at a home on the 300 block of East Rumble Road after patrol officers learned of his whereabouts.
