STOCKTON – A traffic collision claimed the life of at least one person near a busy intersection Friday afternoon.
The collision happened near Hammer Lane and Lan Ark Drive. Police closed off Hammer Lane in both directions to investigate the collision.
A red pickup truck had major damage, and another involved vehicle crashed into a parking lot of the Granite Ridge Apartments just north of the intersection.
Stockton Police traffic investigators responded to the scene and expected Hammer Lane to be closed for several hours.
