STANISLAUS COUNTY – Investigators with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office were able to track down a burglary suspect to a home in Merced with the help of surveillance video.
The investigation began Sunday after several vehicle burglaries and thefts were reported in the community of Denair.
Detectives were able to identify the suspect’s vehicle with the assistance of surveillance video. They traced it to a home in Merced, and with the help of the Merced Police Department, executed a search warrant.
During the search, investigators located stolen property, including firearms and a stolen dog.
