Early Morning Shooting Injures Teen

STOCKTON – A 16 year old boy ended up in a hospital after he was struck by gunfire early Saturday morning.

Police say the incident happened in the area of Rosemarie Lane and Crown Avenue. The teen was in the area around 4:00am when he heard gunfire and was struck at least once.

The teen was taken to a hospital by private vehicle for care, and police say his injuries are not life threatening.

There is no suspect information.
