MODESTO – A collision involving two vehicles caused one to overturn, closing down a section of Scenic Drive late Wednesday afternoon.
At about 5:30pm, emergency crews were called to the area of Scenic and Wycliffe Drives for a report of a crash with an overturned vehicle. Arriving police officers found one vehicle overturned. Firefighters and AMR medics also responded.
Early indications suggest a second vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene toward El Vista Avenue. The driver of the overturned vehicle was able to get out and appeared to have suffered minor injuries.
Police spoke to witnesses at the scene and kept the roadway closed while cleanup took place.
