MODESTO – A motorcyclist involved in a collision with a Nissan Altima Tuesday night on Sylvan Avenue lost his life, police said Wednesday.
The crash happened shortly before 7:30pm near the intersection of Sylvan Avenue and Carson Oak Drive. Responding officers arrived to find the motorcyclist suffering from major injuries. He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the Nissan Altima remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. Police say both involved motorists are residents of Modesto.
