MODESTO – Police say one of the drivers involved in Thursday morning’s crash on Orangeburg Avenue has died.
The crash was reported shortly after 10:00am between Evergreen and Martin Avenues. The crash involved a Ford Mustang and a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Both vehicles appeared to have major collision damage.
Arriving police officers found the driver of the Mustang suffering from major injuries. He was taken to a hospital where he unfortunately died.
Police say the preliminary investigation shows the Mustang was traveling eastbound on Orangeburg Avenue when it was involved in a collision with the Dodge Ram.
The driver and passenger of the Dodge Ram were uninjured. All involved persons are Modesto residents.
