MODESTO – A pedestrian using a wheel chair was struck and killed in a collision on Yosemite Boulevard Tuesday morning.
The collision happened near the intersection of Yosemite Boulevard and Santa Ana Avenue. The area between Wilson and Santa Cruz Avenues were closed while authorities investigated the collision.
Early reports indicate the pedestrian was struck by a utility style work truck. The truck was stopped near Santa Cruz Avenue facing eastbound along the sidewalk.
No further details surrounding the collision were immediately available Tuesday morning.
