MODESTO – Deputies with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office investigated a shooting early Monday morning.
The shooting happened at the 1200 block of Sam Avenue during the 4:00am hour. Early reports indicate one person suffered at least one gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital by ambulance.
The area where the shooting happened was taped off as a crime scene while deputies gathered evidence. No suspect information or motive was available at time of publication.
