STOCKTON – Police are investigating the death of an elderly couple found deceased in a home Sunday morning as a murder-suicide.
Police officers were called to a residence along the 1900 block of Myrtle Street at about 7:17am after receiving a report of two deceased people found in a home.
Homicide detectives with the Stockton Police Department responded to investigate and later determined that a 95 year old man had shot and killed his 90 year old wife before taking his own life.
Police recovered a firearm at the scene.
