Fatal Shooting Investigated on Easter Sunday

STOCKTON – Authorities investigated the fatal shooting of a man as a homicide Sunday morning.

The shooting happened at an apartment complex on Mariner’s Drive just north of Hammer Lane at about 10:30am.

Arriving officers found a 28 year old man who had been shot, he was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. Homicide detectives responded to continue the investigation.

No motive or suspect information was available Sunday afternoon.
