DELHI – Authorities arrested a 23 year old man Friday in connection to a kidnapping and domestic violence case from March.
Authorities say 23 year old Gerardo Partida of Delhi was wanted from an incident that occurred on March 13th. Partida is accused of forcing the mother of his child into a vehicle and assaulting her. The Merced County Sheriff’s Office said the victim suffered serious injuries.
Deputies with the STAR team were able to track down Partida to a market and take him into custody without incident. He was booked into the county jail on charges including mayhem, attempted kidnapping, felony vandalism, and felony domestic violence.
