STOCKTON – Authorities with the Stockton Police Department investigated a suspicious death Saturday night after a man was found deceased in water along Weber Avenue.
Shortly before 11:00pm a citizen reported seeing an object floating in the nearby waterway along the 700 block of West Weber Avenue. Officers arrived and determined the object to be a deceased man.
The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office boat team responded to assist in recovering the man’s body from the waterway. Detectives responded to conduct an investigation into the death. The man’s identification was not available Sunday morning.
