STANISLAUS COUNTY – A motorcyclist led authorities on a pursuit through two counties that reached high speeds late Tuesday night.

At about 10:30pm, authorities attempted to stop a motorcycle that sped away from officers. The motorcycle fled via northbound Highway 99 into San Joaquin County. Speeds at times reached 120 miles per hour. The motorcyclist sped into the Stockton area before reversing course and coming back south on the highway.

Again, the motorcycle reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour as it re-entered Stanislaus County. California Highway Patrol Officers continued the pursuit as the chase exited Tuolumne Boulevard and into downtown Modesto.

After making a few loops through downtown streets, the motorcyclist rode into the airport neighborhood, at times seeming to travel in circles. Eventually, the motorcyclist fled through Yosemite Boulevard into downtown Modesto again. The chase led officers onto McHenry Avenue briefly, before turning around and heading south toward Ceres.

The pursuit continued into Ceres for a few moments with CHP Officers continuing behind the motorcyclist. Eventually, the rider fled west on Service Road then south on Crows Landing.

Officers continued south into the county behind the motorcyclist until it turned onto River Road from Crows Landing. The pursuit came to a stop shortly before midnight just north of LB Crow Road and the rider was taken into custody by officers without further incident.

An arrest record shows Dorothy Lee Parker, 41 of San Leandro, was arrested at 11:55pm by CHP and was held on $50,000 bail. Charges included reckless evading of a peace officer, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Parker’s motorcycle, a 2007 Suzuki GSXR sport bike, was taken by a tow service after the 83 minute pursuit.
