MODESTO – Fire crews responded to a fire at a home that displaced several people Friday afternoon.
The fire was dispatched at about 2:30pm at a home on the 800 block of Atlantic Drive, just south of Hatch Road. Arriving fire crews encountered heavy fire conditions from the garage area to the rear of the house.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire in about a half hour. Investigators responded to the scene to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
