STOCKTON – Police are investigating the death of a 17 year old boy who lost his life overnight in a shooting.
At about 1:45am, officers with the Stockton Police Department responded to the 600 block of Dovewood Street for a report of a person shot. There they found the 17 year old victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital but died from his injuries.
Detectives responded to the scene to investigate the case. No suspect information was available at time of publication.
