STOCKTON – A 14 year old boy has been charged in connection to a shooting that took place at the beginning of February that claimed the life of another teen.
On February 1st at about 10:00pm, police officers responded to Anderson Park on the 6300 block of North El Dorado Street for a report of a person shot. There they found a 17 year old boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
During the course of the investigation, detectives identified and arrested two teen boys, ages 13 and 16. They were taken into custody without incident on February 18th and charged in the homicide.
Tuesday, detectives identified an additional teen boy as a suspect, age 14. Police said the teen was currently in custody on unrelated weapon charges. He was also charged with homicide and robbery in the case.
