MODESTO – A big rig collided into a building and the dining area of a taco truck Saturday evening.
The crash was reported at about 6:48pm on South Riverside Drive near Yosemite Boulevard. The truck was hauling two trailers, collided into an electrical utility pole shearing it off at the base. The truck then crashed into the dining area of a food truck before colliding into a wooden commercial building behind it.
Several ambulances and fire personnel were dispatched to the scene. At least two people were transported by ambulances from the scene. Officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to investigate.
