Cow Causes Vehicle To Overturn on Highway

TUOLUMNE COUNTY – A vehicle collided into a cow Monday night near Jamestown, causing the car to overturn.

The crash happened on Highway 108 just west of Chicken Ranch Road at about 9:30pm, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Early reports indicate the eastbound vehicle struck the medium sized cow causing it to overturn. The driver and two passengers were able to exit the car with minor injuries.

The cow was killed in the collision.
