CERES – A vehicle collision involving a semi and a Volkswagen sedan closed a busy intersection Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 6:13pm near the intersection of Hatch Road and Central Avenue. A silver Volkswagen was pinned under the trailer of the semi. The sedan appeared to be traveling northbound, the semi was facing east on Hatch Road.
At least one occupant was removed from the Volkswagen with visible signs of injuries. Police closed off the roadway for investigation. California Highway Patrol Officers responded to assist.
