STOCKTON – Police detectives investigated a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 20 year old man Monday night.
Shortly before 9:30pm officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Angel Drive for a report of a person shot. Arriving officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance where he died from his injuries.
Angel Drive was closed while detectives searched the area. A white vehicle with damage to a window was examined behind crime scene tape. No motive or suspect information was available.
