SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY – A Linden man was arrested last week on various child rape charges, Sheriff officials reported.
Citing an ongoing investigation, detectives contacted Ruben Hernandez at his home. Hernandez was arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on charges including nine counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age, two counts of rape of a minor, five counts of rape by force or fear, and dissuading a witness from reporting.
Hernandez is being held without bail and is expected in court January 23rd.
