SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY – Authorities charged a 31 year old man in the death of his father in Lodi.
Richard Nielsen was charged with murder of his father, 65 year old Roger Nielsen. The elder Nielsen was found deceased in his home on May 27th. Investigators determined the death to be a homicide.

Richard Nielsen is currently in custody and awaiting trial.
