MODESTO – Police responded to a report of a person shot, later determined to be only by a paintball gun.
At about 10:30pm Tuesday police responded to the area of 5th and I Streets for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and made contact with the victim and determined he was hit with paintballs.
Responding officers stopped a vehicle in the area that may have been involved.
Medical personnel arrived and made sure the victim was okay.
