Shooting Claims Man’s Life, Injures Another
STOCKTON – A Monday night shooting claimed the life of a 30 year old man and injured an 18 year old.
The shooting happened at about 6:45pm near the intersection of California and Park Streets in Central Stockton. Arriving officers found two injured men and began providing aid. They were rushed by ambulance to a hospital where the 30 year old died. The other victim is expected to survive.
The intersection was closed off by police while investigators gathered evidence at the scene. Evidence technicians working the scene appeared to be documenting evidence along the sidewalk outside of the Cal-Park Liquor Store.
