Stabbing Investigated On Yosemite Boulevard
MODESTO – At least one person was injured Sunday night after an altercation at a bowling alley.
At about 10:30pm officers with the Modesto Police Department responded to Yosemite Lanes for a report of a fight. Arriving officers located one person in a parking lot with a stab wound. An ambulance responded to provide care for the victim.
The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Air Support Unit located a vehicle leaving the area and followed it to Memorial Hospital at Coffee Road and Briggsmore Avenue. Patrol officers were able to stop the vehicle in the hospital parking lot where they detained several people. At publication time, their involvement was undetermined.
