MODESTO – Detectives investigated a suspicious death at a Modesto hotel late Wednesday morning.
Patrol officers with the Modesto Police Department responded to the Best Western on Orangeburg Avenue at about 11:00am for a call for service from staff members. According to Police spokeswoman Sharon Bear, hotel staff located an adult woman inside of a room. Few details about her condition or the circumstances regarding the call for service were available at time of publication.
Bear said the investigation was classified as a suspicious death. Detectives worked in an upstairs hotel room behind the lobby area.
