Turlock Campus Supervisor Arrested on Child Porn Charges
TURLOCK – Police officials announced the arrest of a campus supervisor on child pornography charges Wednesday afternoon.
The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip after an image was uploaded to an internet based application, leading to the identity of 42 year old John Snoke. Police say Snoke is employed as a campus supervisor at a local Turlock Unified Elementary School.
Investigators served a search warrant at Snoke’s home and collected electronics for evidence processing. He was arrested following an interview and faces felony charges of possession of child pornography and sending or selling obscene matter depicting a minor. Additional charges could be forthcoming if any evidence is discovered on the seized electronics.
Detectives do not believe any local students are victims but say they are working to confirm this.
As of 4pm Snoke did not appear on the Stanislaus County Jail in custody report.
