Two Men Shot, Conditions Unknown
STOCKTON – Police investigated the shooting of two men in a residential area Thursday night.
Police were called to the area of Montauban Avenue and Gillimer Drive for a report of a someone shot. Arriving officers located a vehicle that collided into a water main pipe and sound wall on Gillimer Drive with both shooting victims. They were transported to a hospital by ambulance in unknown condition.
People arriving to go home near where the victims were found had to wait outside the crime scene momentarily while officers investigated. One resident was visibly upset and said the best thing she could do was pray.
Officers searching the neighborhood located a crime scene near Ector Way and Homewood Drive. No suspect information was available Thursday night.
By 11:00pm, a tow truck was called to Gillimer Drive to remove the vehicle from the scene.
