LODI – Police investigated the shooting of a woman late Thursday night.
The incident happened at about 11:40 pm near the area of the 1000 block of Lloyd Street. Police arrived and found a woman suffering a gunshot wound. Early reports indicate the woman was hit in the abdomen. The victim’s condition was not available Friday afternoon.
Police closed off an area of Lloyd Street while they examined the area for evidence. There was no motive or suspect description available.
