RIVERBANK – A vehicle collision resulted in major injures Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 1:03pm near the intersection of Claribel and Eleanor Roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Early reports indicate at least one vehicle, possibly a Prius, collided into a tree. That person was transported with major injuries to a hospital. A utility pole was also reported damaged during the collision.
Claribel Road was closed down while crews worked the scene.
