RIVERBANK – A pedestrian was injured in a vehicle collision Friday evening.
The collision happened at about 6:45pm near the intersection of Claus Road and California Street. Early reports indicated the pedestrian was struck and down in the roadway.
Arriving deputies reported the pedestrian was conscious and alert on arrival. The involved motorist remained at the scene.
Claus Road was closed in both directions while emergency personnel worked the collision.
