STOCKTON – A truck driver escaped serious injury early Thursday morning when the big rig overturned on a highway interchange.
The crash was reported at about 6:30am near the State Route 4 to Northbound Highway 99 interchange. According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver lost control for unknown reasons causing the vehicle to overturn.
Authorities say the driver was able to exit the truck without injury. There were no other vehicles involved or injuries reported. Traffic however was impacted for several hours as emergency crews worked to clear the crash.
