STOCKTON – Police announced the arrest Thursday of a man suspected of having involvement in a double homicide.

Police arrested 25 year old Charles Gregory at about 1:00pm during a traffic stop in North Stockton, officials said.

Gregory was arrested in connection to the September 30th double homicide that took place near Lever Boulevard and Kansas Street.

On that night, a 26 year old man and 23 year old woman were found in the front seats of a silver Nissan that was facing the wrong way. Both were deceased from gunshot wounds.

Gregory was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
