STOCKTON – Police investigated a shooting that claimed the life of an elderly man and critically injured a woman in her 30’s.
Shortly after 2:00am Sunday police officers responded to the Polo Run Apartments on Palisades Drive for a report of a disturbance. When officers arrived they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
One victim, an 87 year old man, died from his injuries at the scene. The 33 year old woman who was also shot was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
Detectives investigated the scene well into late Sunday morning, but no suspect information or circumstances surrounding the incident were available.
