STOCKTON – Police investigated a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 40 year old man Saturday afternoon.
Shortly before 4:30pm officers with the Stockton Police Department were called to the area of South Aurora Street and East Scotts Avenue for a report of a person shot. When they arrived they found a 40 year old man who had been shot.
Medics arrived, but the person died at the scene.
Detectives were called to take over the investigation. No details regarding a suspect or motive we’re available Saturday.
