MODESTO – Police responded to a report of a shooting with several people injured Friday night.
The incident happened shortly before 9:00pm on Semple Street between Jones and Floto Streets. Early reports indicate three people were shot.
Police arrived and began performing aid until medics arrived to take over. Several ambulances also responded to the scene.
A portion of the block was taped off with red and yellow tape. At time of publication there was no motive or suspect information available.
Witnesses in the area said they heard about half a dozen gunshots before the sirens.
