STOCKTON – Police are investigating a shooting that left one person deceased as a homicide.
Shortly before midnight Wednesday police were called to the 600 block of Oak Street for a report of a person shot. Arriving officers found the victim, a 58 year old woman, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was rushed to a hospital where she died from her injuries.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene to take over the investigation. There was no suspect information or motive available Thursday morning.
