BASS LAKE – An overturned tanker truck resulted in the loss of a life Friday morning in the Sierra National Forest, east of the community of Oakhurst.
The crash happened at about 8:41am according to the California Highway Patrol. Early reports indicate a big rig with a tanker trailer overturned and rolled down an embankment. The crash happened near Beasore Road and Road 274.
No further information was available early Friday afternoon.
