STOCKTON – Authorities investigated a homicide Saturday night after a man was found shot and later died.
Police responded to the 700 block of Astor Drive at about 10:12pm for a report of someone shot. Officers found a man suffering a gunshot wound who was transported to a hospital by ambulance. The victim died from his injury, prompting detectives to respond.
Police closed off a section of Astor Drive as detectives examined the scene and gathered evidence. As of Sunday morning, no motive or suspect information was available.
