LODI – Police investigated the fatal shooting of a 25 year old man early Sunday morning.
Shortly after 1:30am police responded to a report of a shooting on the 200 block of North Central Avenue. Arriving officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the yard of a home. Police worked to save the man’s life before medics arrived, but he died on scene.
Central Avenue between Locust Street and Railroad Avenue was closed with crime scene tape as detectives investigated. No suspect information or motive was available Sunday afternoon.
