STOCKTON – A 36 year old man and 83 year old woman were injured during a shooting Saturday night.
At about 9:43pm police responded to a report of a shooting near the 1900 block of Del Rio Drive. Police said a suspect walked up to the home and fired a shotgun through the door, striking the man. The elderly woman was sitting nearby and suffered an eye injury from broken glass that was sent flying by the shotgun blast.
Both victims were taken to a hospital for treatment and were expected to survive.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man wearing dark clothing and driving a dark colored sedan.
