Police Apprehend Carjacking Suspect, Recover Vehicle
MODESTO – Police officers detained the driver of a vehicle Wednesday that was reportedly taken during a carjacking.
Officers were notified at about noon of a jeep on McHenry Avenue that had been taken. Officers quickly saturated the area to find the vehicle and later located it behind the Day’s Inn just south of Orangeburg Avenue.
Police officers quickly surrounded the vehicle and detained the driver without incident.
