TRACY – Police investigated the death of a woman found in an apartment Tuesday afternoon, saying the circumstances appeared suspicious in nature.
At about 2:30pm police officers responded to the Gateway Crossing Apartments on Grant Line Road for a report of a possible dead body. Arriving officers entered one of the units and discovered a deceased woman inside.
The case was turned over to investigators, however no cause of death or identity were released. The circumstances leading officers to believe suspicion were not available Wednesday, or information regarding when the woman died.
