STOCKTON – A crash involving several vehicles closed a busy roadway in South Stockton Sunday night.
The crash happened shortly before 9:45pm near the intersection of East Jefferson and El Dorado Streets. At least three vehicles were involved in the crash. Two were sport utility vehicles, and the third a Honda sedan that appeared to be parked.
The occupant of one of the involved SUV’s was trapped in the vehicle for a short period of time and had to be freed by Stockton Firefighters. Early reports indicate the motorist was an expectant mother.
El Dorado Street was closed by police during the investigation of the crash. No further details were available at publication time.
