Fatal Hit and Run Investigated in Modesto
MODESTO – California Highway Patrol Officers investigated a fatal hit and run crash that claimed the life of a pedestrian late Friday morning.
The crash was reported at about 11:30am on the Northbound Lanes of Highway 99 near the Tuolumne Boulevard exit. A pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Early reports indicate the involved vehicle may have not have much damage other than a missing mirror. No other details were available at time of publication.
The fast lane was closed while authorities investigated the incident.

This was my daughter died on the 99 the lady turned 😢 herself in but the CHP has not arrested her yet as 10-1-24
