MODESTO – Authorities investigated a crash Tuesday night where the car was found empty after overturning.
The crash happened shortly before 9:45pm in the southbound lanes of South 9th Street near Sonora Avenue. The vehicle apparently overturned and collided into a red Mini Cooper.
One lane of South 9th Street was blocked by the crash. Authorities searched the area but did not find the motorist.
