MODESTO – Police investigated a fatal shooting that happened late Sunday night.
The shooting happened shortly before midnight near the area of Larkin and Empire Avenues. Police say they arrived and found one person who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Lifesaving measures were taken, however the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives responded to the scene to investigate. No motive or suspect information was available Monday morning.
